A great post to follow Ben's concerns about low body fat. Next week is Meat Week in DC. In addition to offering a week's worth of BBQ, the group has one of the best logos I have ever seen. According to the WaPo, "Meat Week organizers recently penned a 'BBQ carol' titled 'The Eight Nights of Meat Week' — six briskets smoking, eight porks a-pulling..." I am going to try and talk a few friends into going, perhaps to eat ribs that are cooked by the famous 'Mr. P.' in an old converted school bus.

DC Meat Week

ReplyDeleteUpdate: we are going to a Texas-style BBQ joint on Monday evening. In addition to a buffet, they are having a benefit concert to raise funds for wildfire victims. Ribs, country music, and lone star beer; should be a good time.
